Having originated in 1978 as The Welcome Wagon, Cary Newcomers Club has a long history of providing its members with opportunities to meet and make new friends through participation in a variety of enjoyable activities.
Today, the "CNC" membership includes residents of surrounding communities, not just from Cary zip codes!
Our motto has become, "you don't have to be new to join the fun," to include those new to our area, and those whose find themselves at new moments in their lives with a desire to meet a friendly and welcoming group.

The Cary Newcomers Club has dozens of special interest groups and activities that meet monthly (or more frequently). Participating and serving in one or more special interest activities is a great way to introduce yourself and make lasting friendships.
